J.M. "Dibe" Peters
J.M "Dibe" Peters, lifelong resident of
Snohomish, WA, born May 3, 1916, passed away
March 24, 2007.
Dibe loved his community as a Mobil Service
Station owner, employed at Snohomish School
District and retired from there. He served
on the Snohomish City Council, an honored
member of Snohomish Tillicum Kiwanis, leader
of the infamous SauerKraut Band and life
long member of the Zion Lutheran Church,
honored in July 2006 as Grand Marshall for
Kla Ha Ya Days.
Dibe is survived by his beloved wife of 62
years, Frances; children, Thom, Nancy and
Pamela; grandchildren, Lance (Shannon)
Peacor, Jennifer (Noah) Rogers, Eesa (Brian)
Thompson, and Erika (Dan) Thiessen;
great-grand-children, Jack Rogers, Moira and
Brigit Peacor, Grace and Carter Thompson;
several nieces and nephews, and his kitty,
Nellie.
His love for his family and amazing
creativity that made us laugh will be
greatly missed.

Day Consultants and Gabriela Talaba, Around
The World Family Home, for their loving care
and compassion.
A memorial service for Dibe will be at 2
p.m., Friday, March 30, 2007, at Zion
Lutheran Church, 4th and Avenue A Snohomish,
WA.
Donations may be made in Dibe's memory to
Visiting Nurses Association, Hospice, or
Zion Lutheran Memorial Fund. Contributions
may be made at any Cascade Bank branch in
memory of Dibe Peters through the Snohomish
Tilicum Kiwanis for the benefit of the
Snohomish Community. Arrangements under the
direction of Bauer Funeral Chapel.
